About the project
Kay & Leo is a twelve-book picture-book series for children ages 4 to 9, made for families who want their kids to understand money earlier — and more kindly — than most of us did. Each book trains one money muscle — resisting the urge, saving, spending well, earning, giving — inside a story that stands on its own, under one non-negotiable rule: 70% fun, 30% lesson.
In this neighborhood nobody scolds, nobody is shamed, and nobody ends up with nothing. The characters get things wrong (a lot) and that is where the comedy comes from; financial education is the promise we make to families, not the hook we use on children.
Every manuscript passes a child-development and emotional-safety review before it is illustrated.
The project's full credits — author, illustrator and publisher — will be published here once confirmed.
