Elio already has his pencil ready to write down how many you make.

Materials

  • Printed sheet
  • Scissors
  • Colored pencils or markers
  • Optional glue to attach to cardstock

How it works

  1. Color the bills before cutting (you can invent the design for each one)
  2. Cut carefully along the dashed lines (a grown-up helps)
  3. If you want them to last longer, glue them to cardstock and cut again
  4. Now you can use them to play store or trade for chores at home

What it is for (while playing)

Make your own play money to invent trades and games in the neighborhood.

Skills: fine motor skills · creativity · value of exchange
